Aura is a running shoe with a focus on comfort. It has a very airy and very light upper, it has structured areas in technical mesh that make additional reinforcing materials superfluous, lowering both the weight of the shoe and the environmental impact. Comfort is further enhanced by the OrthoLite® HybridPlus-Bio™ insole and wide footbed.
The shape of the pointed collar in the rear reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon as well as facilitating entry into the shoe. The shape of the heel shell instead favors the correct position of the foot.
The shaped cut of the reinforcement around the eyelets allows the upper to hug the foot perfectly; it is also seamless. The tongue is anchored with lateral elastic bands, adhering to the foot in a pleasant way regardless of the shape of the foot itself. The fully cushioned midsole has a 6mm drop and is made with BUGforce® foam and BLOOM® EVA for a smooth ride. The BUGforce® not only pushes you forward, but also extends the performance and life of the midsole compound by not compressing too quickly like regular EVA.
The rubber outsole is designed for running on asphalt and gravel, with shallower studs. The rubber has an opening in the center and back, under the heel, to give more impact
soft in the heel. The RB9X® compound provides reliable traction in both conditions
dry than wet.
